Samaritan's purse volunteers have been serving in West Virginia counties that flooding occurred @ 7/21/26 . The city of Buckannon had many that suffered loss.
Amazing how volunteers come from many parts of the country- Kansas, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania.
Two people died in Upshur County.
One person I spoke with said they hadn't had flooding in her area for 30 years yet she lost her home and car!
Our prayers go out to the people in this area that they might have renewed hope in this tragic situation.
So grateful that Samaritans Purse provides this relief at no cost to the homeowners no matter their belief. So thankful for those individuals and businesses who support the ministry to make it possible!
