Samaritan's Purse folks from all over are currently serving in Zanesville, Ohio, where the last few weeks had multiple floods.
Catastrophic flash flooding has impacted Perry and Muskingum counties in Ohio following multiple rounds of heavy rainfall.
Rapidly rising water flooded homes and roadways, made some communities difficult to access, and created dangerous conditions for residents.

Why do random chance events happen in view of the sovereignty of God? Why are some able to live on the high ground and others in a flood plain. And the wind and rain and the course or path it follows - ?

We may not fully understand in our lifetime why certain things happen.
And we know God is good even when we don’t fully understand.
