Hold fast

Overarching love and care of God was a thought I had when looking at pictures of the Gateway Arch.
Also this gateway to the west prior, would have been filled with challenges, hardship, and an overcoming spirit to survive would have been needed to go on, and to hold fast to the reasons the pioneers set out on the journey westward.
Built as a monument to the westward expansion of the United States, the arch typifies "the pioneer spirit of the men and women who won the West, and those of a latter day to strive on other frontiers."

"Its shape and monumental size suggest movement through time and space, and invite inquiry into the complex, fascinating story of our national expansion."

I thought of my need to hold fast to God and The promises in his Word. God doesn't change and this is fascinating. Ne never fails. He has overcome.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.               (Hebrews 10:23)

I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. Rev 3:11

Small

Stand

"Such long, steady, hold-the-course perseverance is especially needed within our vacillating generation. This thoughtful book thus not only elevates the virtue of godly endurance but bears witness to its power in the Christian life.
Stand will awaken and solidify rugged, Christ-exalting endurance in people who are weary in their faith journey or who simply long to remain firm to the end."
and your right hand shall hold me." Psalm 139:10

"As for that in the good soil, they are those who, hearing the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patience. Luke 8:15

TAKE HEART <3
 Hillsong United Aftermath

[Verse 1:]
There is a light
It burns brighter than the sun
He steals the night
And casts no shadow
There is hope
Should oceans rise and mountains fall
He never fails

[Chorus:]
So take heart
Let His love lead us through the night
Hold on to hope
And take courage again

[Verse 1:]
In death by love
The fallen world was overcome
He wears the scars of our freedom
In His Name
All our fears are swept away
He never fails

[Bridge:]
All our troubles
And all our tears
God our hope
He has overcome

All our failure
And all our fear
God our love
He has overcome
All our heartache
And all our pain
God our healer
He has overcome

All our burdens
And all our shame
God our freedom
He has overcome

All our troubles
And all our tears
God our hope
He has overcome

All our failures
And all our fear
God our love
He has overcome

God our justice
God our grace
God our freedom
He has overcome

God our refuge
God our strength
God is with us
He has overcome
