"...suddenly I could see..."

"While walking along the road, Jesus saw a man who was blind since his birth.

Whenever I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.

After He said these things, He spat on the ground and mixed saliva and dirt to form mud, which He smeared across the blind man’s eyes.

Jesus (to the blind man):  Go, wash yourself in the pool of Siloam.

The man went, washed, and returned to Jesus, his eyes now alive with sight.

Townspeople: Isn’t this the man we see every day sitting and begging in the streets?

Others: This is the same man.

Still Others: This cannot be him. But this fellow bears an uncanny resemblance to the blind man.

Formerly Blind Man: I am the same man. It’s me!

Townspeople:  How have your lifeless eyes been opened?

Formerly Blind Man: A man named Jesus approached me and made mud from the ground and applied it to my eyes. He then said to me, “Go, wash yourself in the pool of Siloam.” I went and washed, and suddenly I could see."

John 9: 1-11 VOICE

Jesus heard what had happened and sought out the man.
Jesus: Do you believe in the Son of Man?

Formerly Blind Man: I want to believe, Lord. Who is He?

Jesus: You have seen His face with your new eyes, and you are talking to Him now.

Formerly Blind Man: Lord, I do believe. The man bowed low to worship Jesus.

Jesus: I have entered this world to announce a verdict that changes everythingNow those without sight may begin to see...

"...Concern soon fades..."

Concern soon fades

by Joe Holuta

No matter how dark or winter the day,

Neither mountain high, nor the valley place

Love and mercy run

Run side by side

Railing trials, pains, veer away

Troubles, couriers of kind to meaningful mercies

Today, stark white, dormant and snow covered beside

Turns bright lavender, alive in the field another day.

Put an ear to the track, not heard through the air,

signal, alert the approach, Mercy arrives,

as all concern soon fades to a distant train.

"... Be my Valentine..."

Be My Valentine ♥️

Day by day we seek help,
From above, goodness made-to-measure,
despair lifts, promises true.
The good I know, pictures fresh in mind and shelf,
is found in moments with you.

My heart is thrilled each day new, beauty and faith circle me,
peace again as the day to close.
You, life-giving, my future, my riches
Home surrounded, beauty, abundance, rich legacy.

My valentine, my heart you center present in my mind
This is a good life, hearts glad,
soul not abandoned, full of joy.

Paths that lead to a beautiful life,
as I walk with you the pleasures never ending,
my valentine be mine
Again and again to the end of time.

"We really did have everything, didn't we?"

"We really did have everything, didn't we? When you think about it."

Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Randall, says to the table of his family and friend in the final scene of the movie "Don't Look Up"

Don't Look Up final scene

I thought of morning prayer and how we do look up.

"My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord; In the morning I will direct it to You,

And I will look up." Psalm 5:3 (NKJV)

And thought of how many over the generations have looked to The Lord and we are provided everything we need.

We see a steeple reaching skyward toward heavens and the divine.

"But You, Eternal One, wrap around me like an impenetrable shield.

You give me glory and lift my eyes up to the heavens." Psalm 3:3 VOICE
