Many people will make “Remarkable achievements" going through each day in common ways, confident of God's perfect plan and care. 

Each day, serving in faith, and pressing on 

in the midst of hard circumstances.

Many of these stories will never be known

 but are for God's glory and our good.

I sang the words of this hymn "How great the pain of searing loss The Father turns His face away" and I thought

How could a father ever turn his face away from his son?

What would I feel like as a son, when I felt for the first time, the searing loss of not knowing the love of my father,- to be truly abandoned, separated from him?

I could not imagine my sons turning their face away from their sons, and what my grandsons would feel like being abandoned - first time not having that assurance of love.

We are so quick to "draw straight lines, with crooked sticks" and how refreshing it is to see that God loves us and how we are able to extend this mercy to others!

Reading and these verses and song affect my heart and outlook towards others!
